BIOGRAPHY

曾覓 Quist Tsang，香港年青視覺藝術家，主要創作媒界為攝影, 錄像藝術及平面設計，現在遊走於電影、藝術文化與商業之間的多棲類創作人士。 2023年，曾覓傑出的創作表現，以劇照師和視覺藝術家的身份，榮獲第十七屆香港藝術發展獎【藝術新秀獎（電影）】。

她在16歲開始熱愛攝影，起初以菲林相機拍攝人像為主，隨後被現代傳播集團聘用為攝影師，主要為《號外(HK)》、《周末畫報》和《新視線》的攝影工作。

2008年，Quist 與AsiaOne出版社合作出版個人影集《Lady Luminance》及舉辦個人影展。她的作品以濃烈的色彩、詭異的氣氛和優雅的影像見稱。在2013年，她出版了第二本攝影集《The Unforeseen Mile》，主題為美國的奇異旅程，展現了如詩如畫的風景。

除了攝影工作外，Quist也致力於將攝影應用於不同媒介中，擴闊攝影創作範圍。她先後與HIDDEN和ZHENATION公司合作設計和創作一系列具質素和獨特風格的相機帶及其產品，充分地把藝術與商業概念融合，發揮得淋漓盡致。

在2011年，Quist展開了新的突破，加入電影行業，以劇照師及海報設計師身份投身電影圈，曾參與多部香港近期高質量電影製作，包括《非凡任務》、《風林火山》、《花椒之味》、《狂舞派3》、《媽媽的神奇小子》及《怒火》等劇照工作。她的劇照能夠精準地捕捉電影中某個時刻的獨特氛圍和情緒，構圖精準且變化多端，具有強烈的故事感。在海報設計方面，她主張由參與電影主題概念海報設計開始，現場拍攝及後期製作海報，以至宣傳活動等工作，力求概念、視覺設計和內容完整性。 

現今，曾覓已經成為一位擅長多媒體創作的多棲類創作人士，並致力於將科技和電影藝術相結合，創作不僅局限於視覺，更注重體驗的作品。她的作品經常在不同的展覽和活動中展出，為香港文化發展帶來了新的動力。

Quist Tsang is a visual artist from Hong Kong who primarily works with photography, video art, and graphic design. She currently works as a versatile creator who moves between the worlds of film, art, culture, and commerce. In 2023, Quist received the Award for young artist (Film) at the 17th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards for her exceptional creative achievements as a still photographer and visual artist.

At the age of 16, Quist developed a passion for photography and initially focused on shooting portraits with film cameras. She later worked as a photographer for Modern Media Group's publications such as "City Magazine (HK)". In 2008, she collaborated with AsiaOne Publishing to publish her first photo book, "Lady Luminance," and held her first solo exhibition. Her works are known for their intense colours, eerie atmosphere, and elegant imagery. In 2013, she published her second photo book, "The Unforeseen Mile," which documented her journey through the United States and featured picturesque landscapes.

In addition to her photography work, Quist is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of photography by applying it to different media. She has collaborated with HIDDEN and ZHENATION to design and create a series of camera straps and products with high quality and unique styles, effectively blending the concepts of art and commerce.

In 2011, Quist made a breakthrough by joining the film industry as a still photographer and poster designer. She has worked on several high-quality Hong Kong films, including " Extraordinary Mission", "Fagara", "Raging Fire", "Zero To Hero". Her stills capture the unique atmosphere and emotions of a particular moment in the film with precise composition and varied framing, conveying a strong sense of story. In terms of poster design, she advocates for the integration of concept, visual design, and content integrity, beginning with the design of the thematic concept poster, followed by on-site shooting, post-production, and promotional activities.

Today, Quist is a versatile multimedia creator who combines technology and film art to create works that focus not only on the visual aspect but also on the experience. Her works are frequently exhibited at different events and exhibitions, bringing new momentum to the development of Hong Kong's culture.
